INKLINGS FROM THE INKSPOT
Just a quick update on what's happening at the Inkspot. Easter products are arriving daily, as well as
products that we ordered from CHA! CHA is always a blast and to be around the most creative minds in the
industry is thrilling! We did come home with not only orders for the new items from the "older" vendors,
but found some news ones for us, also (including some new stamp companies which is really what we're
looking to find!). One of the most fun things at CHA is to participate in the Make and Takes by the vendors!
So coming up in March, we're passing on this fun activity to you by offering 2 free Make and Takes
featuring products and techniques from 2 stamping companies. See below for further description, dates

So without further ado, here's our March class and make and take schedule. Regarding our classes we
require full payment at time of registration, and request that you bring your basic kit (black ink pad, double
sided tape, scissors, metal ruler, paper trimmer, pen, markers etc) to each class unless otherwise
instructed.
FOUR SEASONS TAG ART with Barb. Using many techniques and supplies these winter, spring, summer
and fall themed tags will make a stunning picture for a frame or a small easel. The colors are spectacular
and the added ribbons, flowers,and "doo-dads" add great depth to these works of art! Saturday March 6
at 1p. $18.
EASTER NEST(ABILITIES) CENTERPIECE with Debbie Seyer. Debbie's a member of the Spellbinder's design
team, and you may remember her fabulous demos at our anniversary party in October. This class features
the new Easter Nestabilities set from Spellbinders. Join Debbie to cut, emboss, stencil and fill a container
to make an adorable Easter centerpiece or table decoration. Saturday, March 13 at 10a $18
TURTLE-TIME-TERRIFIC CARDS with Dorothy. These darling new turtle-themed images make just the cutest
cards! Three of these cuties will be made by stamping, coloring with colored pencils, and adding
embellishments! Good for any occasion! One of them is even interactive- so you need to check them out
in person! Saturday March 13 at 1p. $15. (different papers will be used from the card sample pictures
online- we think they're even sweeter!)
COLORING WITH COPIC MARKERS with Maggi. Learn theory and application about these versatile alcohol
based markers from a certified Copic instructor! You'll leave not only with a great deal of information, but
samples showcasing how it's done! Tuesday March 16th at 1p. $20. (Minimum of 15 markers needed with
several shades of each within the color groupings. We sell the Ciao markers individually at $4.50 per, and
you'll receive a 10% discount on them.)
FLOWER FRENZY with Maggi. Flowers, flowers, and more flowers- you can never have too many! So
special are these made of papers and ribbons! You'll make at least 7 to take home and a card as well! Once
the basics are taught, the sky's the limit! Saturday March 20 at 10a and Tuesday March 23 at 1p. $15
FREE MAKE AND TAKE featuring new stamps from Hero Arts. Saturday March 20 from 11-1p. Registration
not required.
GLIMMER MIST MAGIC WINTER BOOK with Barb. Wanting to try these products? Well, now's your chance
by using ours (and we think you'll want some of your own!) Tattered Angels' glimmer mists are spectacular
and oh so fun to work with also! This die cut snowflake bound book/journal will be yours to decorate with
sprays, masks, paints and such! The color combinations are so wintry and wonderful! Limit 5. Saturday
March 20 at 1p. $20
SKIN TONES WITH COPIC MARKERS with Maggi. We've got a new stamp line featuring fun and fabulous
ladies that are screaming for copics. So not only will you learn the art of skin coloring with copic markers,
but you'll be making 2 extra special cards with our new images! This class is a great combination of
technique and project oriented! Saturday March 27 at 10a. $15 (copic markers in specific colors required;
call store for details)
FREE MAKE AND TAKE on Saturday March 27 at 12n-2p featuring embossing powder painting! Registration
not required.
TEST TUBE COLLAGE with Barb. Don't we all find test tubes kind of cool!? No chemistry involved in this
class, though, just a bit of thinking out of the box to create a funky wall piece or picture! The tubes will be
filled with not so common items, painted in your own style, and by adding embellishments- this piece will
surely be full of interest! Saturday March 27 at 1p. $20.
